
At the Norwegian University of Science and Technology (NTNU), we create knowledge for a better world and solutions that can change everyday life. From 2016, NTNU, the University College in Gjøvik, the University College in Sør-Trøndelag and the University College in Ålesund are merged to become one university. One of four strategic research areas at NTNU is NTNU OCEANS – knowledge for a sustainable ocean where one of the main pillars is ”Marine Minerals and Renewables”, focusing on aspect related to marine minerals and their exploitation and sea based renewable energy.
